Perth Charities Race Day will be taking place next week and those attending the race will be joined a two royal visitors.

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla who also have the title of Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland have been invited to the event to present the Governor's Cup to the winners of the Scottish Hydro Summer Champion Hurdle.

Around 15,000 people are expected at the event which will take place on Saturday 20th August, with money raised going to the Prince's charities.
